Lebanese Cucumber Pickles Recipe
I never thought that after moving out of Lebanon, I would really struggle to find some good pickles. That’s why whenever I find Lebanese cucumbers I end up making some pickles myself, using an adaptation of my family recipe. Pickles in Lebanon are essential to a lot of dishes. They are traditonally done with a […]
Traditional Lebanese Tabbouleh
To start my blog, I’ll write about my favorite Lebanese salad: the Tabbouleh.
Lebanese Manakish Dough Recipe
I have tried so many dough recipes over the year to make manakish with, but this recipe definitely wins.
Mankoushe literally means “carved” or “engraved” and this refers to the way the dough was traditionally shaped before baking it. Basically, they are Lebanese-style pizzas, made from a dough and various toppings.
Lebanese-Style Sunday Brunch
Ever since I moved to France, and discovered the misconceptions people had here about Lebanese cuisine, I decided to share the flavors of my country with as many locals as possible. Lebanese Green Pea Stew (Bazella)
Green pea stew is a traditional dish that you would have at home in Lebanon. It’s not a very popular dish at restaurants but it surely is popular in the country in general.
It is a nice and hearty stew which is great on a cold day.
The dish is packed with proteins and is generally eaten with lebanese rice.

Spicy potatoes is a traditional Lebanese Mezze that you will usually find on all tables. It is a favorite for both kids and adults.
Unlike what the name suggests, the Batata Harra is generally not so spicy. Its flavours come from the mix of garlic, coriander, lemon juice and (optionally) some red pepper paste.
My Labneh Mix
Labneh is the Lebanese, thicker version of greek yogurt. It is a very creamy cheese that is slightly sour and salty.
We eat labneh with vegetables, zaatar, olive oil, olives, bread etc.
Over time I created a Labneh mix that combined all the flavours I liked to combine in Labneh into one dish that has become quite popular between my friends and family.
Garlic Paste (Lebanese Toum)
Growing up in Lebanon, garlic paste is something you will always have in your sandwiches or as a side, at restaurants or even at home. Chicken and fries simply do not taste the same without it.
