About Today’s Connections Puzzle
Puzzle #823 (published September 11, 2025) asks you to sort 16 words into four groups of four based on

WHALE | A very large marine mammal; informally, something huge. |
WHISPER | To speak very softly, using breath rather than full voice. |
WHOPPER | Something unusually large. |
