Oven Baked Fish Fillet

Whenever I am in the mood for an easy-to-make dish, my favorite option is to pick some fresh proteins, season them, and put them in the oven.

Ingredients

You will be needing the following ingredients:

  • Fish filets of your choice
  • Lemons
  • Fish spices
  • Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Some optional ingredients:

  • Coriander
  • Onions

Tools

  • Oven
  • Oven-safe dish

Notes

This dish is very versatile and you can change its flavors according to your preference. Spices are the main flavor source, so choose them according to your liking.

Instructions

1- Clean the fish filet then mix them with the spices of your choice.

2- In an oven-safe dish, add a bit of oil to the bottom.

3- Place a layer of onion slices in the bottom of the dish (optional). Onions will soak up all the flavors from the fish and add a nice texture to your final dish.

4- Place the fish over the onions, and make sure they are in an even layer.

5- Layer some lemon slices over the fish and add some fresh coriander for garnish.

6- In a pre-heated oven (180 degrees C), bake your fish for around 20 mns, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Serving Suggestions

This dish can be served with rice or baked vegetables on the side.
